• This De Sanctis Formula Junior chassis No. 003 surely has one of the greatest provenances and histories of any Formula Junior.
• Forming part of the works team for 1959 and being raced extensively throughout 1959 and 1960 it was driven by Piero Bernabei, Menato Boffa, Alfredo Tinazzo, Giuseppe Faranda and Roberto Lippi and competed in no less than 28 races through those 2 years.

• Lolas first rear engined race car (one of 11), built in 1961, Chassis number BRJ 32.
• Fitted with period gearbox with Hewland internals, (their very first motorsport entry).
• A rare sight in worldwide historic racing, this particular car has a recent proven record of results, driven by Peter de la Roche, helping to take the Formula Junior Championship in 2017, and the outright Championship in 2018.
• Unused since Goodwood in 2022, the car comes fully prepared for the 2023 season, currently fitted with a low miles RM Wilson engine, rebuilt May 2022.

• The 9th of only 11 cars built and sold new to well known privateer and BOAC Pilot Hugh Dibley for the 1961 season.
• Driven to victory at Goodwood’s 47th Members Meeting in 1961 with Dizzy Addicott, claiming the first ever win for Lola with a rear engined race car.
• Driven to 2nd place by Hugh Dibley at the 48th Members Meeting at Goodwood later in 1961.
• Fitted with an increased capacity Holbay tuned 109E engine and driven by Dibley in the Lewis-Evans Trophy for Formula 1 cars at Brands Hatch in October 1961, making this not only the first Lola every to race in Formula 1 but the first Ford powered car as well.
