  • Swiss full restoration from 2008 to 2014
  • The complete restoration between 2008 and 2014 included every screw, so to speak, of this very rare De Tomaso Formula Junior, which was acquired directly from the De Tomaso factory.
  • The tubular frame, chassis, braking system, engine, shifting and other components were extensively restored by the respected and very experienced Bruno Schaffner.
  • The final assembly was completed by Urban FÃssler Mechanik in Hinwil.
  • In total, invoices of about CHF 140,000.- are presented and do not include the purchases or many other honorary services.
  • In total, more than CHF 200,000.- were invested in this De Tomaso Formula Junior.
  • According to a De Tomaso expert, only five examples of these Formula Junior works racing cars were built by De Tomaso.

1960 Taraschi FJ

  • Five year complete restoration stripped to bare frame of a totally original car. Every part mechanical and not, down to nuts and bolts, replaced with original of the 60 year.
  • The car is restored to the smallest details as it was when shipped by Meccanica Taraschi in March 1960 to Biener Pontiac Dealership in New York City.
