Roger Dunbar has had an email from Gabor Baranyai in Hungary that asked about ELVA F/J racing cars fitted with the DKW engine, as he is manufacturing rev-counters for 2-stroke engined cars, and such products are not readily available in Europe.
However, the instruments are also produced for 4-stroke four cylinder engines and each one is made individually to order. The customer can choose the size (60mm, 80mm or 100mm diameter), the colour, the logo, the range (up to 6, 8 or 10,000 RPM), basically everything.

One rev-counter costs 169EUR incl. shipping (to the UK); ask for quote elsewhere.
