  • BRIEF HISTORY: Sold to historic racing driver Karl Heinz Wagner in 1987 by Ken Booth racing.  It was bought by John Hutchison in 2013, returned to the UK and restored over 8 years.
  • This has been a competitive car in Class C2 of FJ Championship with numerous Class podiums and was 2nd in class overall in 2021.

1963 Brabham BT6

  • FJ-9-63: The works BT6 campaigned by Denny Hulme for Brabham during the 1963 season and one of the stars of Formula Junior. After taking multiple victories, podiums, fastest laps and pole positions through the season, Hulme missed the British Championship by 1 singular point to Arundell.
  • Then the first Brabham fitted with a Lotus Twincam engine, completed by the works for Frank Gardner to race under the Alec Mildren Racing banner in the 1964 Tasman Series, which he did with success.
  • N.Z. Gold Star 1500 Championship winner with Roly Levis and further raced by Reynard Cars co-founder Bill Stone.

Lynx FJ

  • This is a rare and historically significant 1962 Lynx Formula Junior, believed to be one of only five ever produced. It comes with its original historic logbook and a record of old photos and historical information.
  • Being a rare marque, this junior is likely to get accepted for Goodwood.
  • Engine & Mechanical Details:
    • Freshly rebuilt Larner engine and has the following:
      • New Richardson crankshaft
      • New steel connecting rods
      • New forged pistons

      • 1389 A6 camshaft
      • Twin 42 Weber carburettors

Gearbox:

  • Highly modified VW gearbox with custom gear ratios: 1st: 14/39 (2.7) / 2nd: 17/34 (2.0) / 3rd: 20/30 (1.5) / 4th: 23/28 (1.2)
  • The gearbox is exceptionally well-built. A second identical unit was constructed as a spare.
  • This spare gearbox has never been used and is included with the car.

History & Performance:

This Lynx has been immaculately maintained and loved, with all engine work performed by Larner Engines.
The car features a new engine and gearbox—it is essentially in as-new condition.
Raced in Australia until around 2018.
A proven race winner, it still holds the Winton short track record.
Notable achievements include winning the Jim Clark Tribute Race at Wakefield, competing against entrants from multiple Australian states.

De Sanctis 1100 Formula Junior (chassis #003) 1959

  • This De Sanctis Formula Junior chassis No. 003 surely has one of the greatest provenances and histories of any Formula Junior.
  • Forming part of the works team for 1959 and being raced extensively throughout 1959 and 1960 it was driven by Piero Bernabei, Menato Boffa, Alfredo Tinazzo, Giuseppe Faranda and Roberto Lippi and competed in no less than 28 races through those 2 years. 
  • Races included Monaco twice, Cuban GP twice, Monza five times, Vallelunga, Teramo, Pescara, Teramo, Salo etc. There were many top 3 finishes and wins.
