Lola Mk3

  • Rear engined drum braked Formula Junior (Class D2)
  • Lola’s first rear engined race car (one of 11), built in 1961, Chassis number BRJ 32.
  • Fitted with period gearbox with Hewland internals, (their very first motorsport entry).
  • A rare sight in worldwide historic racing, this particular car has a recent proven record of results, driven by Peter de la Roche, helping to take the Formula Junior Championship in 2017, and the outright Championship in 2018.
  • Unused since Goodwood in 2022, the car comes fully prepared for the 2023 season, currently fitted with a low miles RM Wilson engine, rebuilt May 2022.
  • This car is more than capable of racing competitively with later cars and comes with current belts, fire extinguisher.

Lotus 18

  • 1960 Lotus 18 Formula Junior
  •  Frame 987193. body plate 18/J/789 (attached to car). 
  • Sold in batch of six too Papa Rodriguez. Raced by A Álvarez in 1961 in support race to the 1961 Grand Prix. Copy of race program available.
  • Bought in 2011 to Australia by Rob Hanns and Steve Lunn.
  • Purchased in part by G Dell in 2018 and totally rebuilt.
  • Chassis repaired by Elwyn Bickely and gearbox rebuilt by Colliers (Renaut). Cost to rebuild noted until it got $72992 and then ceased noting.
  • Motor standard Ford Anglia 1000 cc. New front body and another new one included. 
  • Original wobbly magnesium wheels. New original style steering wheel, pink leather covered. New water and oil radiator. New fuel tank with baffles. New seat covers, all instruments.
  • 2.40 MM Webbers, all hydraulics replaced and new pedal box fitted.
  • New exhaust fitted, new radius rods and wishbones fitted.

1960 Elva 200

  • 1960 Elva 200 Formula Junior.
  • Class C2.
  • Chassis number 200/10F
  • FIA identity number 37090 / FIA HTP valid until 31/12/2024
  • Of the 20 Elva 200’s, 5 cars were originally fitted with Ford engines.
  • This car was originally purchased by Paddy Hopkirk for his friend Charles Eyre-Maunsell.
  • The car was first raced in Northern Ireland.
  • Ford 1100cc pre-crossflow engine rebuilt by Sam Wilson in 2019, mated to VW gearbox.
  • Chassis stripped and repaired after a frontal accident in Portugal at the end of 2019.

Sauter

  • The only FJ made by the Swiss Sauter design house (still going, with affiliation to Porsche) and in my family racing ownership for the past 24 years.
  • This pretty, fast and unique car set the careers of Heini Walter and Samy Fehr under way, and has a competition career spanning numerous European races and hillclimbs, Monaco, Goodwood and the FJHRA Championships here in the UK.

Lola Mk 5A

Lola Mk 5a Formula Junior: BRJ58/SL2-64

  • 1963 Roy Winkelmann Racing Formula Junior driven by Alan Rees.
  • 1964 Converted to Formula 2 specification by Lola for John Willment Automobiles and renumbered SL2/64 for use in 1000cc F2.
  • In 1965 a Lotus Twincam was installed and it was driven in several non-championship Grand Prix by Jo Schlesser, so the car is eligible for Formula Junior and HGCPA/Monaco Historic GP/Goodwood Glover Trophy.
  • Raced extensively in UK Formula Junior and Lurani Trophy in recent years and is a fully competitive race winning car with numerous wins and podiums in both championships.
